Scale of Charges for Personal Computer Solutions
Tabled below are our current charges for a range of ITC services which we make available to home users. Home visits can be arranged but please appreciate that some jobs take a long time and these can be better done in our workshop. This has the added advantage of keeping the price down, other wise we would have to charge for the number of hours spent at your premises and the cost would be prohibitive. We will not keep your machine any longer than necessary.
| Security - System Recovery from Virus/Spy/Trojan/Worm etc. Removal - simple - Recovery DOES NOT include re-install OS (DOES include free firewall, anti-spyware, anti-virus software if required) | £35 per device |
| System clean up - Data and Dust. Normal house keeping, empty temp folders, cookies, Internet Explorer cache, Recycle Bin, History, Word cache, Recent files and Defragmentation of the hard drive. Dust removal with Compressed Air. (NOT infection removal) | £35 - £45 |
| Install Operating System and install your programs/software/applications and run Windows Update | £45 |
| Missing Drivers - requiring Internet search, download and install plus burn to CD ROM | £25 |
| Backup Personal Data, files, music, photos, films etc. (varies depending on the volume. One DVD = approximately 6 gigabytes) | £30 per DVD |
| Personal Tuition - Browsing the Internet using Internet Explorer/Mozilla/Firefox; eMail using Outlook Express/Mozilla Mail; Groupware with Lotus Domino, Microsoft Office, Open Office, Adobe Photoshop, Networking, Security, System Administration. Many more - please enquire. | £35 (per hour) |

| Laptop Hardware upgrades and repairs - (we do not do these ourselves but can pass your device on to a specialist laptop service. (The price will vary depending on the problem with the device and the client's requirements). Handling fee Please enquire. | £50 (handling fee) |
